How come it has taken this long? If he only lost because of a virus then surely an immediate rematch would have been made. Or is there something i'm missing?

If it all works out it will be Campbell-Mendy, Campbell-Crolla then Campbell-Lomachenko in 2019.

Massimo Barrovecchio scored it 112-115 for Mendy, Robin Dolpierre 113-115 for Mendy and what a surprise the UK Judge John Keane from Wellingborough, Northamptonshire had it 115-113 for Campbell : John Keane found 8 rounds for Luke - laughable! clearly biased for his fellow Brit.

Yvan Mendy may not have a choice in returning to the UK because this rematch/eliminator is on the biggest stage that Europe can produce on the undercard of the next Joshua defense ( as Outworn mentioned ).

What a break for Luke Campbell to be a Mismatchroom fighter, we all know without A.J Eddie Hearn wont invest in Campbell to headline his own show despite being a 'Gold-medalist' from the UK...haha, yes you remember he had to travel to Los Angeles to challenge Jorge Linares -- I wouldn't be surprised that Yvan Mendy made Campbell fly to France after Eddie Hearn failed to win the purse-bid for Pulev-Shyte! HA!
