It seem all they want is a Golovkin & Canelo pay day. Hope Golovkin & Canelo have a trilogy just to keep all these guys careers on hold for the next year just to fuxk with them. Soon they will run out of bums to fight so might as well fight each other soon.

They won’t hey are all scared of losing and if you are going to lose then why not make the most money for it. Just ask canelo. His only official loss is to Floyd but he made huge money in doing so.

i asked the same several times, some here think that canelo or ggg need to fight and beat each and every one of them...
jacobs seems to be the only one willing... the rest are a bunch of pansies...

They don't want to lose their chance of getting a big payday.

This is actually a really good question.

There was once a time when fighters wanted to clean out a division so the champion had no choice but to face them.

Sad thing with this scenario is if ggg does beat one of these guys without one decent win, people will be dissatisfied with it, saying the guy was unproven etc. I'd be far more interested in a situation where the ggg vs Canelo winner faces the winner of Jacobs vs charlo/derecyanchenko. The guy who came through that would be a proven commodity and a much better sell.

Nail on the head right there.

The issue is with the sanctioning bodies & that they don't force it upon the mandatory, so then what's the benefit for them to take on high risk, low reward if it's not ordered?

Just look at Derevyanchenko's last opponent that was 22-22-3.
They'll continue to milk their position until there's a big payday. There is none though while GGG & Canelo are occupied. It's cyclic & pretty ridiculous.

Here's what the IBF Prez said about this exact situation when asked:

Q: What will your Mandatory Challenger be doing in the meantime? He won’t be able to get his title shot until the middle of 2019 at earliest.

A: Roughly! And it’s looking like it might be that long! The good thing about it is Gennady fights a lot. He’s a very active champion so the line will move pretty quickly. In the event that our mandatory contender is sitting and waiting his turn, we let him take voluntary bouts.

                Q: Whoever he chooses?

                A: Correct.

                Q: It shouldn’t be a top-ranked IBF contender?

A: Hopefully he does fight someone ranked.

In fairness to Jacobs he tried to fight Saunders and is trying to fight Jermall as well. Jacobs wants to fight GGG and Canelo but he is also willing to fight other tough guys while he is waiting.
