Comments Thread For: Bellew: I Want Andre Ward, Tyson Fury or Usyk vs. Gassiev Winner

Former cruiserweight world champion Tony Bellew (30-2-1, 20 KOs) is looking for he biggest fight possible to close out the year. Bellew was in action earlier this month, when he knocked out David Haye in the fifth round of their rematch at the O2 Arena in London.

Nothing wrong with this mindset. He's 35 years old, already recognized as the best Liverpudlian boxer ever and has millions in the bank.

I think Ward or WBSS winner makes sense, also for those other parties. Would be huge PPV events, packed O2 arena.

Fury would beat him easily imo. but that would make him the most money.

If he actually managed to fight all of these and beat them, which would be an almost certain impossibility given his ability + age, we're talking HOF potential for Bellew.

The ol' catch-a-beating cash out fight. Good on him. He had a nice streak late in his career with some quality wins and embarrassing Haye twice. He deserves the final big payday.

He fought the ghost of haye twice and he knows it. Usyk and ward would give him a one sided beatdown as for gassiev or even dorticos lets not even go there

As a TV annalist I'v grown to like T.

              T. has been lucky to have found himself in a position to have fought a completely shot named fighter ...twice .

              Andre Ward is a different thought....only money, not a real contest..but good luck T. ....it's a streamer.....LIKE .

Would love to see him fight Stevenson or Usyk v Gassiev winner. As a fan I'd prefer the Stevenson rematch because, both Usyk or Gassiev will probably beat him with ease ☹️.

Haye was his cashout cheque(s)! Only Fury generates close to that...but doubt that happens. Really can't see him taking the WBSS winner as the money won't be great and that's a tough, tough fight.

Ward fight in UK does decent numbers and is the least risky fight from a health perspective and the best chance to win.
