There you have it 1 more fight for DLH 07

    "Oscar not retiring yet!

"I can fight a few more years," said Oscar De La Hoya today, while announcing that he will continue as an active fighter, although he will not be fighting on September 16 as planned. The Golden Boy said he is still training and as of now is leaning toward fighting next May -- in what will be his last fight against the only fighter that interests him, Floyd Mayweather Jr. The Golden Boy stated that he thought long and hard about retirement, but "today is not that day." Oscar stressed that "I have to do the right thing," adding that he didn't want to fall into the trap of retiring, then coming back. "I'm only going to retire once," he promised.

Oscar also announced that the September 16 PPV date will be filled by Marco Antonio Barrera in a rematch against Rocky Juarez, headlining a big PPV card that will feature a total of four world title fights"

I don't like what Oscar is doing.
He's trying to pimp the game by fighting once a year and ****.
      **** him.

ok so from I have been reading...PBF has planned 2 fights. Nov and in Feb right? Now, if this DLH and PBF happens it will be messed up that PBF will take those plans into action where as DLH can concentrate all those months in PBF with SR on his side. Where PBF said he takes one fight at a time?

Can't wait for Oscar vs. Mayweather in 2007. Plus, Mayweather can shut all the Margarito fans the **** up by beating him next. This works out terrific.

So Barrera looks poor against Juarez, lets him in the fight, and the now the rematch is a PPV...

I bet Mayweather wishes he fought his mandatory now so his status would be better protected for a possible DLH fight next May...

Yeah good, May '07 it is. DLH better make sure that he is fully healed from all the injuries he have before that date. So no excuses.

And OH, we got a confirmation of the MAB/Juarez rematch. Good!
