Comments Thread For: Joshua Buatsi vs. Anthony Yarde: Hearn To Make "Big Offer"

Promoter Eddie Hearn says he will be making a "big offer" for his man Joshua Buatsi (6-0, 4 KOs) to fight the Frank Warren promoted Anthony Yarde (15-0, 14 KOs) in the second half of 2018. The two British light heavyweights are pencilled in to fight one more time before the summer with Buatsi scheduled to be back out in July, while Yarde will return on June 23 at the O2 Arena, London as part of the Billy Joe Saunders-Martin Murray undercard.

Now another thing is that it can be done on BT - so Frank can also deliver to the fans and like Frank likes to say "We're all about the fans". Another thing he likes to say is that lose is not an end of the world, right?

Make it happen Frank, Yarde can do it. A bit of faith!

Honestly warren should be embarrassed with how Yarde is being moved. Like I get he hasn’t had many amateur fights but it’s getting to a point now where he’s headlining cards against Romanian window cleaners enough is enough. I’m a massive fan of Yarde but I’m not watching his next fight if it’s against another overmatched Eastern European supermiddleweight

I don’t know why they’re so reluctant to put him in with buatsi because I honestly feel at this point Yarde murders him but let him carry on fighting eastern Europe’s finest taxi drivers and buatsi will soon surpass him.

Plus Buatsi is suppose to be "Poetry in Motion" accoridng to Eddie Hearn. He surely looked impressive in the Olympics.. maybe not so much as a pro and I'd like to see what he's got.
Yarde also showed some volnurabilities - so it would probably come down to who has more character and fighting spirit. Great way to find out about two bright prospects early on, I'd be very excited.

Frank, Eddie - take risks, make it happen
Definitely love his style and the olympics, i have no doubt he is a talented fella, just that this fight is coming too soon IMHO. But yeah you have to take the risk, Moreover i thought Hearn was throwing AJ in too early with the Wlad fight, so what do i know.

Warren will not take this fight for Eddie's $1 billion dollars, Yarde is more well protected than the president

Complete LIES from Eddie Munster Hearn as usual.

Buatsi isn't even worth talking about but Hearn really will allow Callum Johnson to fight on June 23rd on BT SPORTS then send over clearance forms to Frank Warren and i guarantee you that Frank will be happy to make Yarde vs Johnson for the 23rd...but i also guarantee you that Hearn is LYING through his ass as usual and just talks his usual BS and the gullible fans eat it up without asking for any evidence.

Yarde would be Buatsi and Johnson on the same night with change to spare.

This is how we do It in the uk, dangerous fights early in a career. Don't count buatsi out, the kids got it all.

Similar situation to Taylor/Davies, except Hearn got the winner this time.

Yeah Buatsi is surely too open at this stage to fight a ****er like Yarde?

Yarde is open too but Buatsi so far hasn’t shown the same power.

The size difference would be pretty big too, Yarde is a unit at LHW and Buatsi to me looks like he could make SMW.

Respect if they do go for this, but very very risky unless they know things we don’t about Yarde behind the scenes (chin / stamina issues in sparring or summat)

Taylor looked a lot more polished and classy than Buatsi does at this stage though.

And Yarde is definitely better than Davies imo
