Oh..... My......god. What the **** fight were they watching ? I scored it 115-113 Toney

The judges scores were completely asinine in that fight. It was razor close. I actually forget how I scored it, but I remember it being close and asking myself what fight the judges were watching when they announced the scores.

he lost to Mesi after knocking him down about 3 times in the fight, i thought it was a draw, but he just started too late. He was beating an aging Moorer everyround until he got brave and was ko'd. It looked like the same fight Moorer had with foreman. Then he got a Draw with someone, i'm not sure who. I think he did win one fight but i'm not sure how and with who. I think he still has alot left and could give alot of guys trouble. I'd love to see him fight Brewster

U thought it was a draw? Thats impossible... Mesi won rounds 2-8, Jirov had a 10-7,10-8,and a 10-9 round.. Thats 94-93.. The rounds mesi won were won very decisively... How the hell did u come up with a draw...

UM you guys do relize Jirov is cruiser weight once again and his last fight was at cruiser weight...I here rumors he will fight Dale Brown or JMM on a FNF type show

I saw that fight when the replayed it before the Toney/Rahman fight, It was one of the best fight I've ever seen, non stop action, but I've got a few questions.What year was the Toney Jirov fight? was it fight of the year(in my opinion, it should have been) & if it wasn't which was the fight of the year that year?

ur an idiot if u think winning 1 round and dominating 2 rounds should give u the fight when u lose every other round... This is called boxing and boxing fights are scored by the round.

It was in 2003, when Ward v Gatti III won FOTY.
That one wasnt as good though, they probably should have given the nod to Toney v Jirov.

It's amazing how so many people thought Toney-Jirov was a close fight. If you didn't think Toney won that fight easily, I have to say you suck at scoring fights. All pretty close rounds, but you don't just pick a few rounds and start giving them to Jirov because the fight looks close. Toney dominated that fight in terms of rounds, but Jirov made most rounds real close. I had it 116-111 for Toney.

Yeah, but Toney severly lacks discipline, and maybe Jiriov does too.
Id like to see him fight JMM at cruiser.
Itd be a must win for both of them.

jmm would be a fool to take that fight...Toney would seriously put a hurting on that boy,mormeck would try to get in wide looping hooks and get countered by the right every time
