    Bunch of fk'n parrots.

Golovkin didn't cut the money, HBO wasn't signing off on a PPV for that bout. The offer was originally sent to O'Sullivan when Loeffler thought they'd still have a PPV, the day after Canelo withdrew! Once HBO came back & said no to that then of course the returns (for both fighters) diminished greatly. Golovkin still kept the date, meanwhile Spike turned down $220k & fought a WW on 05/04 for peanuts.
    Gary O'Sullivan $20k, Berlin Abreu $15k.

Don't you think GBP had a little to do with that? Spike made less than 10%. He obviously was holding off for the larger Canelo payday that's been brewing for months.

The crap some of you people eat & spew is unbelievable.

Canelo 04/03 withdraws from Golovkin rematch on May 5
Spike 04/04: "I’ve said yes to fighting GGG"
Spike 04/14: "Money-wise it’s not on PPV and the fight’s not worth the money that it should be."

      Sounds good to me.

      This fight could be huge!

I'm a fan of both but would love to see this!

Yeah and he was pulled or persuaded by GB to decline in order to sabatoge the May 5 fight.

Make the Charlo vs GGG fight happen please!
Forget about the Canelo rematch. It's a waste of time and money.

Is Haymon even making an effort to make the fight happen?
Or he's in full protection mode for his boy?

                Haymon would love that fight.

Gennady and his team are the ones in full swerve mode...only looking for retired JMW or eager WW to come up 13 pounds on 2-4 weeks notice.

The stuff legends are made of.
