Canelo is more popular than he is good, he'd probably lose to all of the afore mentioned fighters.
Go look at Nelo's resume & go look at lil g's resume.

I don't know how lenient the IBF is that' why I asked. Charlo in a way is still ranked top three even though he's no.4 and the one behind derevyanchenko is Jacobs who aren't gonna fight each other. That's why I thought maaaaybe the IBF might give him ANOTHER break given the fact that he would still be fighting Charlo a guy they rank on their top 3.

Don't get me wrong tho, I'm no nut hugger. I know GGG had to fight the IBF#1 instead of **** Vanes and he's starting to go full diva on us.

I'd like to see my scenario play out OR GGG vs Murata in Japan or unification vs Saunders in the UK or get stripped because he doesn't seem to want anything to do with Sergiy.

What people seem to be throwing out the window is the Canelo rematch. I think given this wbc ultimatum and the fact that the Canelo money might walk away forever, this September rematch isn't dead just YET.

All that does is give GGG an opportunity to make the type of money he could only dream of without canelo.
I agree, this situation is not totally on Canelo, GGG could have said the right things, maintained some semblance of a relationship with Canelo, and this fight comes off no problem.

In that situation, Canelo might have even felt bad, and given GGG a few extra points.

But because GGG is an idiot, he has now played himself out of his biggest payday.

On another note, I am noticing something in this thread, much like AJ fans, I see a ton of GGG fans coming up with reasons why this fight should not take place, but they were totally cool with the bum of the month club for years, and even Vanes recently.

Charlo is the most dangerous oppponent out there for GGG outside of Ward, or some of these light heavyweights, and the fear in this thread makes me realize I am not the only one who knows it.

Name all the fighters that didn't come up a weight class.
Name all the fighters under the age of 35.
Name all the fighters that were actually active.

And what's left on Canelo's resume?

inner city? lol! its ok you can say black fighters. Of course you're afraid for Golovkin after all Charlo is bigger and stronger than Jacobs, faster than Canelo, young, gifted and 'black'!

i presume golovkin and canelo will both accept a 60/40 split and if thats the case there is no problem, its a great rematch

                      Huh?

Oh. You're that dude who posts three times a day about how Jacobs and Canelo already beat GGG aincha?

Well, anyways, yeah sure... hope your boy gets his shot sooner or later (though I think there's every chance Golovkin will have that L on his record before Jermalls turn comes round) I think he's got a good chance and good luck to him. Think you missed the point of my post though, ain't about Golovkin winning or losing, it's about the WBC being crooked *******s.
