Problem with that analysis is Haymon's asset is 32, has suspect technique, has yet to break through and is currently earning $2m tops per fight. It's in his interest to get this fight sooner than later. If he keeps on waiting he risks finally being matched against someone who can take his '0' and with it a big portion of his market value.

You're absolutely right, which is why he's gonna fight like hell to get that fight here. Even if it takes the next year to get there, he'll wait. It'd still give him a couple years of PPV exposure pending Wilder doesn't lose in that scenario. Because anyone telling me he gets over 12 Million they must think its a 70 Million dollar fight in the U.S .


For Wilder to make the excuse of money but then gamble taking less in the U.S is contradictions at its best .

In reality he would be probably recieving about 15 Million in the U.K , if he gets that in the U.S after Joshuas 50 and then everything else included that means the fight HAS to generate 75 Million at least .

In reality it does probably 65 tops if it happens next which leaves Wilder less then 10 Million inthe U.S .

This is why Wilder wants 40 % in the U.K .......
