Damn thats sh^tty timing. Thought we were gonna get a active Loma & now we got an injured Loma. This dude is never fighting 3 times in a year again lol. Although I guess if he's fighting the caliber of guys he's fighting in his last couple fights then its a 2 fight schedule he's on anyway.

It was obvious something was wrong. I noticed he kept shaking his arm during the fight, including the early rounds.
They were also icing the shoulder as early as the second round.
I was hoping it wasn't that serious and he would still get to fight in August, but it's better to get it fixed as soon as possible and it looks like he may be ready for December.
That is some boss stuff right there. Injured shoulder and still took out the Lightweight Champ in his first fight at Lightweight. In a fight that could end up being the Fight of the Year.

So he'll have a warm up in December and no intriguing fight until May next year.
Serious question: my sense is that there are more injuries in modern boxing than years gone by - do you agree?

Is it because of his country of origin or being white or something? I’m perplexed
That said, I don't get this lack of credit either. Seems completely unfounded. But hey, there is a genious on this thread who said that "LOMA the new GGG.. overrated fraud".
Loma is a 2 time Olympic gold champion and 3 division world champion in 12 fights. But nah, not good enough. Maybe once he beat AJ, people would give him the props. I wish those with such "high standards" realize that they completely obliterate their own credibility with these kind of statements. Not to mention that any decent amateur, even no Olympic medalist, would put these couch Rambos to sleep in the first round.
