Epic, who promote neither fighter, won with a bid of $1,500,111 to comfortably beat Matchroom ($831,111), who promote Whyte, and Sauerland ($801,305), who promote Pulev.

Wait a minute, Edwina States she has a billion dollars with which to stage fights and can't cough up enough to beat that piddling
Bid? There's a major disconnect here.

85/15? To fight Beterbiev? I wonder if that's been his standing offer in recent fights? If so, no wonder no one wants to fight him. Geez, should be at least 70/30. Even GGG's people have said they have to pay more to potential opponents, or they'd have no fights.

Not really, he just got unexpectedly outbid. Clearly didn't think k it was worth that money that was out up.

85/15 is the purse split IF the fight go to bid. The other governing belts do 75/25 for the champ, but the IBF does 85/15. That's why hearn mentioned he wants to speak his promoters with hope of making a deal before it goes to bid.

yeah he has money for a US deal so should just pay wildly over the value for every uk fight, if he doesn't bid 8 million per random uk fight then the US DAZN thing is just imaginary
