Inoue does not have a bad defence lmao. And he was swinging punches to finish off mcdonell. Inoue actually has a very proactive defense into offence thus why he starches people, rodriguez has not done anything for u to warrant him a powerful puncher LOL he couldn't even stop butler who came in overweight and wasn't training, inoue just took out a guy who was basically 6 foot and had a 14 lb advantage on him. Don't forget, Inoue is a pretty good boxer and has fast feet, but, he does make mistakes. He's gotten away with it in the past as he hits like a truck, but he's also young and getting better. The Mcdonnell fight probably didn't help him too much as he arguably needed more rounds, he needs to be tested (like Linares did Loma) to get better. Hopefully Rodriguez will do that, and yes, Rodriguez might even win if he stays on his game for the full 12.

Inoue opened up with his entire arsenal once he had McDonnell hurt. But he is far from a wild reckless puncher. He can outbox these other guys if he needs to.

I would like to see Inoue again at the weight to see how he does before anyone right the others off. I hope these fights are are as good as people expect. WBSS seems to be moving in the right direction but the money side always bothers me.
