    no, he did not

Golovkin was unable to secure that fight because he was..... 1) unwilling to back up his big "anyone from 154-168" mouth..... 2) unwilling to fight unless it happens on his terms, even when negotiating with a superstar

stop making silly excuses about something that happened two years ago..... none of that rubbish explains why Golovkin will not sign the contract now

especially considering the fact that he already agreed to those terms

I can see how Canelo should WANT the rematch enough to give a little to erase the questionable draw, to fight while having undergone 365 VADA.

But seriously, if this match doesnt happen right now its GGG fault not Canelo.

      props for keeping it real

and for restoring a little faith in humanity

what a ridiculous indefensible position Golovkin has placed his fans in, AGAIN!

and YES, Golovkin's position is totally indefensible.....

        * insisting that Golovkin somehow deserves more money because of..... a) his titles..... b) the result of the first fight..... c) the result of the drug test..... is rubbish

        * mentioning 50/50, is rubbish..... and Golovkin knows it

        * insisting that Canelo needs Golovkin..... is rubbish

        FACT1:
Purse splits are divided based on drawing power. And the fact remains that Alvarez is a bigger draw than Golovkin, regardless of what happened in the first fight and the drug test

        FACT2:
if Golovkin is as smart as I think he is, he’ll put aside this notion of a 50-50 split – which he knows isn’t realistic

        FACT3:
Alvarez has other options that will generate very good money..... And assuming Alvarez continues to win, his recent issues will begin to recede into the past

Golovkin vs. Alvarez: So the Triple-G-Canelo rematch is supposedly in jeopardy. And, of course, the trouble is money-related. Alvarez reportedly wants a 65 perc

props to the Golovkin fans who are keeping it real

I would love to see him fight the other top middleweights...he will have a tough time with Jacobs,Charlo, BJS....even Andrade...no way GBP will let him face those guys...too much risk...if he loses his next fight, hes done!

Are you dreaming?!...no way he beats Charlo...Charlo is too strong for him, just like GGG is....he might out point Jacobs...

Get your facts straight!!!...he totally dropped the belt..1) because of his dissappointment in the WBC 2) because GGG was his mandatory, GBP knew he wasnt ready for that fight....had to juice it up first...and still LOST in most boxing fans eyes

I can't believe people are justifying Canelo moving on from this fight. The rematch has to happen. Yes, Canelo is the bigger name and should get more% but he just failed a drug test and GGG is the champ. 60/40 is fair and GGG and Tom should take that.

Both parties should stop f*#king about acting like little pedantic b*tches.

But if he loses against Jacobs or Charlo....and there is a good chance he will, where does he go from there?.....his career @ MW would be done

I also read after my post that the Goldenboy offer IS higher this time around, from 30 to 35%. Sort of a “sorry we almost ****ed up your huge payday by eating mexican beef”.

                      So whats the problem?
