If there's someone who needs to prove something that's bumlovkin, two somewhat decent opponents in canelo and jacobs and neither got KO'd or stopped. 50/50 is not ever going to happen. Team GGG needs to give up on those numbers. Here is how I see it - it doesnt matter what each fighter thinks because the ones who power the finances are not going to agree to a business deal where they make less money. Paying GGG 50% means less money for them. They look at the promotion costs and everything involved and what each fighter is capable of drawing and run a line in the financial sands and it is what it is. They don't care about reputations and titles. There is still the A side of the negotiation and GGG is probably more like the B+ side because of the ways things went for the May 5th bust but thats about it.

Canelo WILL NOT FIGHT Jacobs! He's too dangerous. Unlike Canelo's opponents Jacobs is much bigger and stronger than him. Canelo fights people that are much smaller than him (eg Amir, Liam, Cotto). The only exception is Chavez Jr. and he was drained hardcore. Spike is next, 100% guaranteed.
