Team GGG bluffing, they will crawl out of their hole and beg for that 35% soon enough.

GGG will not play second fiddle to Alvarez

GGG's management needs to get more realistic. Greedy fkers.
Canelo can prove he is the "boss" by fighting either Danny Jacobs or Charlo and winning (legitimately). I bet either of them would take a 65/35 split. However my prediction is that if Canelo won't fight GGG he'll pick only easy opponents.

They would take a $3 million flat fee plus 10% of the ppv money, neither of those jokers will get 35%.

I'm a former Canelo fan and still like his fighting style way more than Golovkin's, but what legacy does Canelo have to protect?

His best ever career high is beating old, small Cotto in a competitive fight and receiving a graduate boxing lesson from Mayweather.

The $40 million is probably based on Canelo getting a 65/35 split. A 50/50 split would still give him $31 million. Where else can he make $31 million?

Although I agree GGG as the Champ deserves at least 50% or approximately $31 million (based on $62 million total revenue), I think he should accept the 50/35 split Canelo's team is offering. That is still $21 million. If a third fight is needed then it should be a 65/35 split favoring GGG.

Agreed but they are both dangerous fights for Canelo.
A win over Canelo would guaranty much larger future paydays.

Canelo WILL NOT FIGHT Jacobs! He's too dangerous. Unlike Canelo's opponents Jacobs is much bigger and stronger than him. Canelo fights people that are much smaller than him (eg Amir, Liam, Cotto). The only exception is Chavez Jr. and he was drained hardcore. Spike is next, 100% guaranteed.
