This is an amazing tournament if it takes place as advertised. Much more interested in this group than I was for the cruiserweight series. Any matchup from these four fighters is must see boxing. Personally, I'd like to see Inoue-Rodriguez as the final.

Good tournament to crown the best boxer at bantamweight... I tip Tete to win.

Excellent tournament, the WBSS is what boxing needs in all divisions ..... imagine in the middleweight? (GGG v. S Derevyanchencko) v s (Canelo vs Andrade) and (Jacobs vs. Charlo) vs. (BJS v. Murray) ....... it would be an extraordinary tournament! Imagine the second round! GGG vs. Canelo / Charlo v.s Saunders? .......... or Jacobs v.s Saunders? It would be the ecstasy for us fans! This tournament would consecrate the winner as one of the best middleweight in history! Even among the losers of the first round can be a tournament of losers and then there would be one with 3 tremendous wins that would challenge the winner of the tournament at the end ..... it would be excellent!

Naoya Inoue has clearly faced more accomplished fighters -- you can argue Burnett being a former unified champion puts him close to the notable names in Naoya Inoues resume, but I say if I had to compare Burnett to : Hernandez, Narvaez, Taguchi, Kono...I say Ryan is more like Hernandez except Burnett was never #1. even with two belts -- we know Shin Yamanaka was the man but Ryan was/is a paper champion and the weakest of the bunch in the 118 WBSS.

              Yeah hes trash.
Burtnett will get destroyed by “ the monster” and Tete.

I’m still worried about Tete and “the monster” chin though. Haven’t seen them take a clean shot in a while, they been executing opponents left and right. Excited to see them duke it out in the finals.

Sounds great on paper however i would put GGG and Canelo on oposite sides of the bracket and hope they both make it to the finals.

As for the Bantamweight tourney, I'm biased since I am South African. So Tete is my pick.
