Wishful thinking. I despise Cinnabun, but he is the biggest draw in boxing. How do you know this? The best Mexican fighter has been an automatic ppv draw for literally decades. JCC was never close to an elite fighter. He was no better than a thousand other gatekeepers. But he was viewed as the best Mexican fighter. And thus, all his fights were on ppv. Canelo gets over 300k buys against no names. He gets 700k for a 140 lb. fighter who has a long history of being knocked out.
That is how.
Boxers do not just say, "No, I refuse to fight that guy." Instead, they make ridiculous demands they know will never be accepted. Boxing is different than most sports. Fighters get paid based on how big of a draw they are, not how good they are. Canelo fights Khan and gets over 700k buys. G fights Brook, on regular hbo with tickets sold via EBT cards. Canelo may very well be a cheat. He is a proven diva. He has been over-rated. But he still gets a lot more people willing to pay for his fights, than any other current fighter.
Keep hating, cause I do too. But I also pay attention to reality. Such as Morales being ancient and old when he failed ped tests, and most importantly, that Morales retired after the failed tests, at the age of 36 with countless all out wars on his record. Yep, the Mexicans turned on him after he retired. Please, Morales is a freaking legend in Mexico. He retired because he was 36 and no longer close to the fighter he was a decade earlier when he was in the midst of trilogies against Barrera and Pac.
Just because someone says Mexicans turned on Morales or that they do not like Canelo, does not make it true. It only proves the hater is quite bitter and irrational.Comment

We have seen the best of canelo already against GGG and that was on roids. I feel it's all down hill from here on. The he's still young and getting better thing is done. It's as good as it gets for canelo, he wasn't that good to begin with as far as Mexican greats goes.Comment
