    Person B: 45/55

    Person A: 58/42

    Person B: 42/58 agreed

    *both shake the others hand*

    When it doesn't work:

    Person A: 65/35

    Person B: 50/50

    Person A: 65/35

    Person B: 50/50

    Person A: 65/35

    Person B: 50/50

*both look at the other guy like he's crazy*

When you got a guy saying one thing & sticking with it you gotta bend more or walk away. There is no obligation for both sides to agree on the value of each guy. And if you are the B side you are more likely to have to accept the value you can get vs demand the value you want, like it sounds like Tommy & GGG were doing. This is all basic day 1 type things in Fight Negotiations 101
    Or the third scenario:

    Person A: 65/35

    Person B: 50/50

Person A: I'm done, I'm walking away. He doesn't want to fight.

Person B: Umm, I'm still willing to talk (negotiate).

But I have a feeling that Person B in this scenario even if they were willing to start going down from 50% that Person A would not be willing to go down beyond their original offer.

Person A does not seem to realize that the terms agreed to in May of 65/35 have changed. Their fighter who F'd up of the agreement and now has more to gain in making the fight should probably be a bit more flexible. I think reasonable people would agree when the facts are laid out. But that is their prerogative.

Zero. He would be doing what he's supposed to do. Fight the best in the division.

we always had ppv parties on may and september and some other times when there were good fights, lots of food and drinks, a few fans with our families, may went by we didn't do shyt, looks like september will go by and if we don't get vanelo/ggg it will be probably another night of partying, booze and food, but I am not paying for any other fight on that date, matter of fact I am not paying for any canelo or ggg ppv unless they fight each other

The way to redeem himself was to submit himself to year round random testing, which I think he did, and throw GGG a bone during negotiations for his epic fook up that ruined the May fight. I'm not saying GGG deserves 50/50, but they should give him more than 35%.

If Canelo fights Jacobs next it shows he's confident in his ability to mix it up with any of the top dogs at 160, but I personally think he should go for Saunders in order to make the GGG fight even bigger. Either way, that's not the way to redeem himself, I think these are two different things that don't correlate in the redeeming spectrum IMO.

in all possible alternate realities there is not one in which Clen fights Jacobs, there are dozens in which he finds an excuse to rematch Josesito Lopez

To be honest, I think it would be wise for Canelo to stay away from Jacobs and Charlo. Tall, rangy, HUGE, smart, powerful, agile, long, athletic boxers will have Canelo looking bad.

I doubt they only had time to give one take on what they wanted or to change gears if needed.

But yea I agree one would think Canelo would need to bend more because of his situation which I don't think is going anywhere despite him being "cleared" by most pundits & media, but I think they are once again using their evade til GGG gets old here tactic they were using previously for a year or 18mos or w/e.

The older GGG gets the better Canelo will get so this fight being pushed back another year is only helping Canelo & hurting GGG plus I tend to believe with the murderers row GGG gots in front of him part of their tactic was staying firm on their offer cuz plan B sucks balls for GGG. Its likely if GGG takes plan B GBP won't even have to worry about the stretch the fight out longer so GGG gets older tactic cuz GGG will get beat.
