You will never find a hungier more motivated fighter with more heart than Ramirez, it's why Top Rank has believed he was the next big thing since the Olympics and all the top trainers have wanted to train him.

      Classic ingrate.

Methinks there is more to this story than meets the eye.

Would love to hear Roach of this story.

Oh and when is Prograis going to get his shot.
The article is incorrect, Roach has not trained Ramirez from the beginning. Freddie is amazing the GOAT, but no one but the fighter can truly know what he needs. It is common for fighters to move trainers not because one is better, but because a different perspective can make a big difference.

That don’t happen too many times
I think Roach has had a good run but lately his fighter s not looking to good
        So yeah fugh that
Garcia will bring something totally different to Ramirez s arsenal
Maybe then he’ll come out and play with the warriors
        Lol
Ramirez wants to fighter all the best...remember it's in the hands of the promoters on both sides and comes down to $$. Crawford took all four major titles without having to fight a true elite fighter.

          I bet I could.

Loma for example pressed Arum to put him in with Salido in his 2nd fight when Arum had 0 desire to do so.

Ramirez didn't seem too interested in pressing Arum into the Prograis fight well into his pro career. To me that gives some clues and indications about what Ramirez thinks himself capable of.

You have zero knowledge of this, yiy are jyst gyessing...

Ramirez wants to be the best, is eager to fight all the best. He has wrecked world champions in sparring and if you were to ask Freddie Roach or Robert Garcia you would hear that he is a unique talent and the sky is the limit.

Remember SEVERAL BIG TIME MULTI TIME WORLD CHAMPIONS HAVE TURNED DOWN FIGHTING JOSE RAMIREZ.

And Ramirez turned down Regis Prograis. Thats ***** sh^t when he had agreed to that fight if both won.

Fair play to him if he's only interested in the money doe. If I was a pro boxer I'd be more interested in money myself over who's the best of the best although I can't imagine I'd agree to a fight I'd opt out on later cuz my word means something to me.

Regardless doe the guy isn't fighting from the heart. He's a businessman. A guy with heart doesn't opt out of an agreed upon fight.

Its cool if he's your guy or w/e, but know who your guy is. A man is his actions not his words. Thats a lesson best learned sooner than later for all of us.

So you must not know much about how boxing works...Let me school you a little...Ramirez wanted the fight. Prograis wanted the fight...their promoters didn't make it happen and it came down to money. Prograis will not draw the fans so he won t get paid big unless they allow Top Rank to have an interm fight to build it...so Prograis went for the money in the tournament instead of fighting Ramirez. Ramirez and Prograis can't make the fight happen, ESPN or Showtime and the fighters promoters have to come to an agreement.

It's not fair to blame either fighter they don't really have much say in it...only a couple fighters in the world can call their own shots because they can find their own shows.

If anyone one is to blame for a delay in this fight it is Prograis team

Doesn't look like it to me & most fans + pundits. He coulda told Arum whats what. He didn't. We shall see if he fights him after his next gimmee fight.

I'd bet against him fighting Prograis then to. He's a businessman. I can spot a businessman wearing boxing gloves a mile away. And like I said fair play to Ramirez in being a businessman. If I was a pro boxer I'd be businessman as f#ck.

I'm not even hating on that. I'm dogging on you thinking this guy is Arturo Gatti wearing his heart & pride on his sleeve who's willing to fight mfers for free in a parking lot cuz thats not who this guy is.

Since you don't have actual information it doesn't matter how it looks...the fact is Ramirez is the one who doesn't care about the business part all he wants is the chance to prove he's the best! Trust me Ramirez is a rare breed a true savage ask the top trainers or world champions he's trained with...they will all tell you he is an old school beast, heart for days and only want a to fight the best to prove he is...and you are wrong about ANYONE can tell Arum what's what...been around Mr Arum and the business side of boxing a lot...Manny can't even get his way.

Stop thinking it's the fighters choice...Ramirez and Prograis would agree to fight for winner take all...but the promotion so companies, managers, WBC and ESPN have to make their $$

Now you know how it works

Cong**** on being the only Ramirez fanboy on the site. Can't wait to hear your future excuses. Should be equally as funny as todays delusions.
