How well does Bud have to beat Horn

Bud needs to break him down, which he will do. As the rounds progress, Horn will get picked apart and he and his team's constant trash talk will come back to haunt him. It's going to come down to the point whether his team tosses in the towel or allows him to get KTFO.

Just win. Why would he need to do better than that?

Yep. Horn sucks and will get destroyed. Horn really is a garbage fighter with no chance.

Needs to put on a clinic.

Land 50% of his power punches and get tagged by less that 20% of Horn's.

Win every round, showboat, hit those flashy combinations, toy with Horn and stop him in the before the 8th when he has had his fun.

He will make it to the conversation. Needs Spence and Thurman to topple Loma form that number 1 spot though

Terence won't even get touched by Horn. Horn will be a human punching bag.

Many people say that Horn is total trash.

Struggling against a fighter who is regarded as trash would be unacceptable from someone who is described as possibly being the best P4P boxer in the world.

If Bud doesn't humiliate Horn, then his stock drops. People will hold it against him for a long time.

If people think Horn is trash, that's their problem. He isn't. Just because he isn't a Spence or Thurman in the division doesn't mean he's trash by a long stretch. Would it be unacceptable?

By what standard? You can't point to many great fighters in history who didn't struggle with a Horn or worse, and maybe lose to them too. Winning another major title in another higher weight class, by any level of performance, it's not knocking him out of p4p #1 conversation. It's still a win, and it's still a reasonably big win, if it's a win.

It's like, hey, if Ali doesn't KO1 Dunn, a man who'd been KO1'd three times already, then he can't be considered the arguable best heavyweight ever, and he can't be considered the best heavyweight today. Can you imagine that? Well, it just doesn't work like that. That's the way fans try to structure it to make everyone they want look like a disappointment, but it's an artificial setup that doesn't gel with real life in boxing, which has general consensus surprise stylistic clashes that produce surprisingly competitive or noncompetitive results between men of a p4p different objective caliber.

KO or wide decision does the job. And hell I think Horn might be getting enough hype that even if Bud has a lil trouble getting to him that it won't eff up Bud's P4P talking points by fans too much.

If Bud gets dropped/hurt or its a close split/majority decision type fight then he might lose his high standing.

More or less how I see this fight going. I think this could be Bud's Floyd vs Gatti type moment that'll showcase him on a grander scale to many in a more influential division.

Horn's heart will be tested like never before. And idk that he's got a lot to offer Bud unless he gets some Aussie ref that allows MMA rules again like vs Manny & I don't see that happening in Vegas.

                      Beating a Jeff Horn-level guy (Chris Algeri 2.0) ain't making anyone p4p #1 dude.

Now, if he fights and beats Spence too? Okay, he's #1 in my book then.
