    Wow I thought McDonnell would lose but not by ko and def not that early.

    Innoue is now a 3 division world champion and McDonnell on the other hand is talking about moving up smh why?

    did you not get the memo? moving up in weight will revitalise any bums career, look how well it worked for martin murray (who is back down at middleweight being used as an opponent again) but "i've been killing myself to make the weight i've been making this weight since i was a teenager" etc etc.

      I was pretty certain McDonnell would lose by KO but not that early, and actually I thought the stoppage was a bit abrupt. But anyway, seems like Jamie has really struggled with the weight this time. One thing that surprised me was that they only flew out to Japan a week before the fight, from Dubai (economy-class!), which I thought was a bit tight, considering it's a 10-hr flight and he's never fought in Japan before. They'd have needed 10 days to acclimatise at least, I'd have thought, or ideally a couple of weeks

        Apparently McDonnell weighed 144lb before the fight, Id say its time to move up, lol
