Duva got Kovalev a 50/50 purse bid split with the WBC champ & got the WBC to make another champ the mandatory for their champ. Then skipped out on the purse bid. And at the time Duva admitted Kovalev wasn't signed to HBO

She was trying to be sneaky & use the negotiations to secure a better HBO deal for Kovalev. Kovalev was a free agent & didnt have a deal with HBO.
