I'm almost starting to think the canelo positive was a deliberate way to get out of the fight using some legal loophole that would avoid paying a huge sum to Golovkin.

He claimed innocence yet barely put up a fight & withdrew before it was necessary. Then immediately pulled out of negotiations for a new date...

thats cool...im indifferent to canelo...you can call him whatever...you can go search all the canelo threads since the drug test and you wont find me in em defending him or any of that nonsense....soooooo...its nothing to me....you can say what you want

but canelo fans dont talk about him like hes unbeatable and some godsend who will fight all comers and can beat anyone that ever fought in his weight classes...they dont call him an ATG(disclaimer some of them might but i pay almost no attention to it).....but golovkin fans run around acting like hes the greatest gift to boxing....and his resume still kind of stinks...and even his good fights are disputable....a win and a draw

to some degree you are right....

but people need to remember they thought canelo needed golovkin before too...and all of the sudden a khan fight popped up out of nowhere...and did pretty well and made canelo some money

guys want to fight canelo...hes a meal ticket....dont be suprised if at some point down the road you see a fight with canelo pop up that you never really considered possible....

Both sides should just move on both fight twice more this year.

Canelo fights in September and December (My guess O'Sullivan then either Jacobs or Saunders)

GGG fights in August and November(My guess Sergiy then Murata)

If both survive whatever 2 opponents they have this year then both sides hopefully reach out to each other and they fight next May. This soap opera needs to end and the Middleweight division needs to keep flowing instead of waiting on these 2 major ego fighters stalling everyone else in the division.
