He should move straight up to 126 lbs at least imo.

He should finish high school, then get a professional degree in something... mechanics, or maybe become a janitor or ...

I wonder if there is going to come a day where these sanctioning bodies will universally come up with re hydration restrictions and give fighters x amount of chances to be in the division until they can no longer make weight and they force the fighter to move up in weight.

McDonnell just as Rey Vargas are abnormally tall for the smaller weights. At 122 pounds McDonnell will have his work cut out for him but he will be will be a good addition to the weight class.

Moving up to a higher weight will do him no good he will be fighting guys physically larger as well as more punching power ...yseriously think about pulling the plug... he has achieved all he is going to in boxing but to hang on for a few more years will just get him some more money and maybe another title shot but no title...

143lbs from an 118lber. Jeeeeeez. That's insane. That's nearly a 24% increase of his weigh in body weight. Mental.

Same day weigh-in will save boxing. Cheaters will be exposed. P4P will go to the midgets. No cherry pickers. No Mexican meat.

Agree with the people saying he should jump right to 126. Gavin is already at 122, there aren't really any domestic fights for him there and he weighed 144 ****ing pounds for that last fight. 126 has a lot of potential options for him
