I don't agree, Brook is very skilled and he is gonna be strong at 154, hes not tall but he's strong , Hurd doesn't look to have much going for him at elite level apart from huge frame at the weight, I think Brook takes him apart late or decisive points win

I guess Brook will want the Khan fight as a priority, they are really in separate weight classes , I don't care to see Khan destroyed again by fighting over his natural weight , no higher than 150lbs imo

Hurd might actually stop him in the early rounds. Brook is damaged goods at this point, not that he was ever elite or great. Get over with the Khan fight and call it a career.

This would be a lose-lose fight for Brooke and I question how seriously it would even draw in the US ...I would much rather see the rematch with Laura the WBA should push this or strip him...

Lara will run for 12 rounds in a rematch and cry he got robbed. If I were Hurd, I would move on from that fight.

Nobody is clamouring for a rematch with Lara. It doesn't make much sense.

Brook Hurd is a great fight. Brook would put a good fight and certainly has a chance to win. Hurd is there to be hit and Brook is very strong.

Hurd is big and active... he just cut off the ring nicely against Lara..imagine what he'd do to a guy who ran away from GGG less effectively than Canelo.

His eye sockets won't hold up.

Brook should fight Khan and Hurd should fight Charlo.

Hurd vs brook will look and play out exactly the same as lara vs hurd did. I haven't seen anyone provide any reasoning that would prove otherwise. Brook is 5'9 like lara but his reach is 4 inches shorter, legs aren't as quick and power is probably about the same. Not to mention brook has no belt and has done nothing at 154 yet.

Funny thing is this is the 2nd time Hurd has said he doesn't know how long he can keep making 54. So why waste time going after the smaller guy with no belt, if you could fight Charlo & Mungia to become undisputed & then move up?
