Seems like he's struggled to make 160 for forever now, some fun action fights to make with him at 168. Korobov, Porky, Gavril, Quillin, Truax, Yildrim, DeGale, JCC Jr are all fun fights I'd like to see him in. Lemieux/Eubank is probably the one I'd like the most though

Yep. Lemieux has had problems making weight for some time now - going back to March 2016 at least.

He'd be toast at SMW though. He's got great power and the skills aren't too bad, but he doesn't have any reach and fights very slow and compactly. SMWs will either jab him to death like Golovkin or overpower him.

This makes me realize 168 is not that great. Would Porky and Yildirim beat Lemieux?

David Lemieux needs to really be advised by his team to leave Canada and find a trainer who can attempt to revitalise his career.

He's entirely to comfortable their and he hasn't improved his skills at all. Moving up is not the answer.

At best David is gatekeeper. He was at least considered a contender at Middleweight but at 168 he's going to have a hard time against real competition.

Also Golden Boy has no fighters at 168 unless he fights against their prospect Ballard. So my guess he try's to get with another company next.

He just blew off meeting the limit. He's done it before. For a real opportunity he makes 160 again no problem.

oh yeah, like Broner. Come on, you know how this game is played. Grab a paper title then move up. Multiple titles makes a guy "great". Give me a guy that cleans an entire division out over these multi weight "champs"
