Lemioux is a strange case, he's a small guy with shorty arms, but he seems to have a really thick body, he doesn't have the proportions to compete at 168, he's giving up too much height and reach and isn't skilled enough to overcome the disadvantage, he's finished.... if he ever started?

Yes they are. Real fighters seek new challenges instead hitting on smaller & weaker opponents. Best example is Lomachenko who seeks every time new challenges at a higher division.

[QUOTE=BIGPOPPAPUMP;18803660]Back in December, it may have been the last time that former IBF middleweight champion David Lemieux (38-4, 33 KOs) competed at 160-pounds. Earlier today, Lemieux failed to make the middleweight limit - coming in at 162-pounds, for his scheduled fight on Saturday night in Quebec City.

Seems to me the challenges sought Lemieux. Quite a strange way to warp things but to each his own I guess

Dude, plenty of great boxers stayed in their divisions .

Lemiux is going up because HE GOT FAT.
            Not because of courage .

Hagler and Monzon are great fighters! They are just not on the same level as both Sugar Rays, Duran, RJJ, B-Hop, Oscar, Floyd, Pacquiao, Cotto, Mikey Garcia, and all the other multi-division world champions! If Loma had stayed at 126, he would be great, but not on the same level he is today

Lemiux is just lazy. If he stayed in shape he would really be a beast

It wasn't his stamina that let him down, it was a lack of talent. He's **** average and if he moves up in weight, his power will be average too.
