Perhaps he's afraid of being overawed?
Because Wilder team is putting up the 50 million that Joshua requested. That's pretty much bringing everything to the table. Once you're getting paid that much money you have to give something up. This AJ team don't want to give up an inch, very terrified that if they lose they lose with every advantage.

Ok ok I respect this. You’re willing to take less money to fight in your home town ? Cool

Right, OK, so: if this fight doesn't materialise, we'll see Deontay make 20million + in his next fight?

        Thought not.

          Yes, AJ if terrified...

His resume, compared to Wilder's, suggests otherwise

            Immaterial.

You’re not asking what Deontay brings to a fight that doesn’t involve Joshua.

There is no one on AJ resume that is noteworthy but a past his best old Klitschko. I'd fear Wilders right hand more than anyone that AJ fought, and you can tell that this is the case with AJ since he is getting the money he requested but doesn't want to fight in the states? If he is so confident in his victory, take the 50 million and fight wherever the hell Wilders team want's you to fight, but obviously he isn't as brave as his nuthugger fans would like to make him out to be.

Just make this a 2 fight deal like AJ vs Wlad was supposed to be; first fight in the UK and 2nd fight in the USA.

That's not the deal. Hearn has said that they will take less money if its in the UK but that's what AJ prefers.

It's fair enough if you ask me; just a shame we had to waste so much time with that "give me $50m crap".

You obviously missed the last two AJ fights. two stink fests in a row. his fight vs Parker was the largest pile of **** in heavyweight boxing history. Can't think of any fight worse than that.

And how can you say Wilder brings nothing to the table when he offered Joshua $50 million plus PPV upside?

AJ is a fckn shameless coward. Period.

"Give me $50 million I'll sign tomorrow." The coward got his card pulled.

Now the goalpost moves to the location.

AJ fanboys have zero credibility after spending weeks calling Wilder's offer a PR stunt.

AJ said give him 50 mil....
Hearn said we have to confirm it.....
Hearn confirmed that it's legitimate and the money is there.
