Inoue only won the WBA regular title?

They are saying hes a 3 weight world champion now but it says it was only for the WBA regular title and Ryan Burnett is the real WBA champion?

Its still considered a world title. Just like Matthysse became a world champion after defeating the Thai guy when Thurman has the WBA Super belt and Murata defeating N'Dam when Golovkin has the Super title too. The WBA is a special organization.

So basically just a special interim title. This era is watered with all theses belts.

Funny that you say its a special interim belt, the WBA has an interim belt on its own. See the featherweight and batamweight divisions. I think they don't consider the interim belt as a world champion just yet. Filipino Reymart Gaballo is an interim belt holder in the batamweight division.

He was the IBF champion and when he went to have a unification with the WBA champ, the IBF stripped him.

It is a world title regardless, holds more value than the rubbish WBO European title I did not even know this existed.

There is only 1 european title by EBU this is a disgrace and any of the boxers holding them know they are paper champion WBA regular not interim means something

Not really WBA stripped Sosa the WBA regular champ because he choose to fight Loma instead of the real champ Corrales. They didn't let Loma become unified because its nothing more then a glorified interim title. Same with the real WBA champ he wins nothing by taking on this other WBA champ its not gonna unify.

According to posters on here the "REGULAR" title is legit and counts for title defenses even if there is a "SUPER" champ
