No you think canelo should pay GGG just because he feels inconvenienced when this is about business and money. If you can point to a single thing that GGG adds to the fight financially now that he didn't months ago sure. Hell if he fought fought vanes and it sold out the MGM and drew big ppvs then sure you could say well GGG is a bigger star draw more so deserves a bigger slice. But that isn't the case the vanes fight was further proof just how big a B side GGG is compared to the A side canelo. Loeffler announced the fight was still moving forward in Vegas then had to crawl to the tiny stubhub with his tail between his legs only to watch GGG struggle to sell tickets. This ain't a phuking charity and GGG ain't getting shyt more then he brings to the table. He already being handsomely paid the first fight was more money then he ever made and the rematch will pay him more. GGG acting like a wh0re asking for a few more dollars on the nightstand. If this was truly about him feeling disrespected about the failed drug test then he would of moved on immediately and no amount of money would be enough to fight canelo again. So either sign the contract or move on and stop name dropping and begging canelo for money. GGG has tons of mandatory fights he owes he can get paid peanuts for them and canelo will continue fighting on ppv without you. This is the ultimate case of cutting off your nose to spite your face. If your worst case scenario is that canelo makes 12M fighting spike while GGG makes 1m fighting dervy or vanes ll I think canelo wins that. He's only 27 already the cash cow with tons time on his side to land future big money fights. GGG pushing 40 every fight could be his last and nobody is offering even half the money canelo is giving him.
BOTH guys are multi-millionaires. BOTH guys will STILL be multi-millionaires regardless of who they fight next. And BOTH guys can make considerably more money fighting each other than they can fighting anyone else.
That being said, so what if GGG feels he should get a better deal this time since Canelo screwed up the last fight? Why are you so butt hurt by that? Your problem is that you cant escape your habit of thinking like a **********. You act as if its a rule that Golovkin MUST bend over and accept whatever deal Canelo offers, and if he doesnt then he will be out on the street corner with a cardboard sign and a cup full of pencils.
I hope he tells Canelo to kick rocks. Its not my money so if he is ok with taking a pay cut then thats his business. Let Canelo go fight Spike O'Grady or Ishe Smith or someone else.......Last edited by OnePunch; 05-24-2018, 11:03 PM.Comment

This Oscar fella lives to try to treat boxing fans like they're ******. Both guys want the fight. Oscar used to be such a great fighter and poster boy for the sport, and then he became this bitter, shady character in retirement, coked out dressing in drag, letting 20 year old girls film him a few months ago shoving kitchen utensils up his butt (I mean seriously--WHAT IS THAT?!), and now using the media to either try to get Canelo time and a tuneup fight beforehand or I don't know what. For De La Hoya hating Trump, he sure uses a lot of the same tactics...and he's on par with Arum now when you look at it. Canelo needs to ditch this side show and self promote hiring people like Mayweather did. I hope both guys do fight someone else, because people are caring less and less about a rematch to a fight that will have been a year and a half ago at earliest.Comment

GGG is basically entering the sunset of his career. He should just trump all of his detractors and go right to Jermal Charlo or a Jacobs rematch. End that career on a high note. No need to go out with a whimper.Comment

The fact you are comparing GGG to loma and Linares who aren't stars and aren't ppv fighters says all you need to know. If GGG was a star he would have ppvs to back it up and wouldn't be fighting in a 1/3 empty stubhub which is a tiny and holds what 7,000. GGG is regular hbo type fighter. He's proven if you don't have to pay to watch him boxing fans will tune in or go to his fights if the tickets are dirt cheap or hand out freebies. But casuals and general sports fans don't know or care about him his fans are too cheap to buy ppvs to his fights or buy a ticket to stubhub to see him. Canelo doesn't fight on regular HBO even when he fights nobodies it does double GGGs PPVS and fills 50,000 at cowboy stadium. Last time he didn't fight on ppv he drew double the ratings of GGG/Vanes. One of these guys is the A side and the other isnt. Yet the guy who isn't is trying to demand more money then the deal he signed months ago LMAOComment
