The same people that said ggg is ducking his mandatory are now saying ggg is ducking canelo. Since the canelo fight may not happen now, because ggg is asking for more than bread crumbs sergey fight looks to be on.

The first fight wasn’t epic or anything. I’m not exactly dying for a replay. Does it really matter if they don’t fight again? Won’t the result come down to some fickle (or crooked) judges anyway? Isn’t Golovkin coming close to the end of his career? Aren’t Canelo and GB pretty much doping themselves silly?

I think a lot of us are ready to move on. Other boxing matches are more important by now.

Soooo, who's he talking about fighting? A Jacobs rematch? No... Charlo? No. Saunders? Not that I know of... who. The mando is fine for now, but what about later?

Sucks when the ******ed ****boy logic you went with and always co-signed is applied to ggg. Now all of a sudden if you don’t fight someone it’s not a duck.

            Don’t change up now.

GGG is the middleweight champion of the world. He fears no middleweight and ducks no middleweight. Oscar tried to lowball him on the money for the rematch and GGG ain't going for that. Let Canelo take a big pay cut and fight Spike.GGG has at least 4 other excellent middleweights he can fight. He will fight one of them and the GGG haters will say he ducked the other ones. The middleweight division is now full of very good fighters wanting to fight GGG. he can't fight them all at the same time.He will fight them one by one. Right now he is the true middleweight champion of the world and Canelo is not a champion.

It’s a no win for ggg no matter what he does and his career has dictated this since pirog, Sergio, cotto, ward, and canelo up until recently have all ducked him but it was made out to be his fualt. Now they want him to fight sergey but they also want him to fight canelo, charlo, and even Jacobs a second time for god knows why. He can’t fight them all at once and he only has a couple years left in the game before he’s done.

One thing for sure is, if AB is getting 3mil a fight I'm sure GGG will be a ok either way.
Sure he won't make Canelo money but I'm sure it ain't bad money.

Yeah, after the guaranteed purse, he probably makes more from gates, foreign audience etc. Murata in Japan and BJS fight would earn decent too so for all the kind folks in this forum worried about how GGG would feed himself without a Canelo fight should stop being as concerned. The man's wallet is hardly empty.
