Don't really get your point to be honest. Whyte is , at least at the moment, one of highest rated heavyweights, and therefore credible opponents. It would be a huge fight in the U.K., in fact it was big at the time for both men first time around which was before Joshua had a belt. The next one would be on a different level.

His ability is proven really by the fact that wilder was offered such a big payday, well above his previous highest, but turned it down. If it was that easy, given whyte would be right up there with the best on his resume, he would have snapped hearns hand off to get his best pay day yet. Reality is that he knew there was some risk associated which meant he didn't want to take the option at that time.

What I'm saying is that boxers rather fight friends to give them a pay, like Haye and Bellew who pretend to hate each other in public but really are buddies. Champion would give voluntary to his buddy rather than someone he hates (Whyte).
