i just got a chance to see abner mares for the fist time and this guy is going to be a champion, i was very impressed in how he looks this early in his career. he has good power, great footwork/balence and has a fast right hand that he can let go at anytime and he can throw just as fast weather it is a straight right hand or an over-hand right.

i've only seen baustista once, he didn't impress me much, but i didnt' see his last fight where supposedly he got a ko. but from what i seen when they meet eventually i'd favor mares
