he's not a boxer so of course he stance, his punches, etc. is not gonna resemble the traditional boxing style. that doesnt mean he wont fair well with some of the pros. bruce was a fighter, a born fighter. you cant take that away from a person.

its funny reading these comments, but the exact same posters saying bruce has no shot in boxing are the same ones saying floyd would do very well in the ufc. FOH!

We have no idea how Lee would handle a punch and he was not a boxer. Now if he dedicated himself to the craft who knows, but that is just like asking if a top level boxer dedicated themselves to be a king fu master...
i asked myself the same question too, when the floyd fans say floyd will do great in the ufc.... ?

yes, some people are born a fighter, some pick it up as they get older.

Lee had a boxing style unorthodox to traditional arts based around fluid movements .

Boxing is a form of martial art , so the answer is obviously he would have been advanced for his time .

He competed in boxing in Hong Kong so he surely dabbled in the art of boxing .

One thing you cant teach is intuition and he certainly had that regardless how good you think he would or wouldn't have been .

He would have been somewhere at mid level at worst .

floyd is not a born fighter. floyd finds the easiest way out. that's not a fighter. he's a great boxer tho. now im not knocking on floyd's success or skills. im just trying to explain to you what a real fighter is imo.

yeah, and you know this about actor bruce lee but you don't regarding all time great boxer floyd mayweather, son of a contender, nephew of a world champion, and who had boxing glvoes on his hands as soon as he was old enough to hold them up?

you're honest, this conversation is worth my time. and you've seen bruce lee fight!

He would have not been a contender even.
