Thank you...you prove my point exactly. You simply cannot accept that Ali could have ever lost on the merits.
Go ahead, tell us how great he looked, how he certainly would have hammerd Holmes, how the heavens would have opened up with the cherubs singing at each instance that Ali stepped into a ring. Go ahead, downplay Holmes, his accomplishments. Continue to take earned credit from him based on some bullsh** about medications. Because, as we all know, Achilles himself, streaking down from the cosmos, could not have beaten Ali unless Ali had been drugged or even dead.
Maybe Ali was actually secretly shot before the fight and he had to fight Holmes with a collapsed lung? Has this been researched? Have people who "were there that day, man" interviewed? I think that this may have some merit since awestruck onlookers noted that Ali was in shape and sparred 14 rounds shortly before fight day. Well if he was in shape, then a nuclear bomb and a subsequent advance of armored divison could not have beat him. Seriously, this gunshot thing has some promise. Maybe you can look into it if the pill thing is ruled out.
So thanks again, phxboxingfan.
