Comments Thread For: David Lemieux Wants To Make a Statement in Achour Fight

Former IBF middleweight champion David Lemieux (38-4, 33 KOs) is looking to make a statement on Saturday night, when he faces Karim Achour (26-4-3, 4 KOs) in Quebec City. The contest will be the first for Lemieux, since the lopsided defeat to WBO middleweight champion Billy Joe Saunders last December.

I can't these sore losers. Now every time you lose you gotta say you're injured? They should get fined every time they say that bs .

This guy lost EVERY round, embarrassed to the max by Saunders, his stock shot down faster than a ton of bricks in the river.

Lemieux should fight Jacobs in the very near future.

Lemieux should fight a bunch of unknowns. Whoever beats him gets a big fight. I still like the guy for what he is. He has a fun style against lesser opposition.

                  Lmao!!!!

How do you plan to make a statement beating up on a garbage man with only 4 ko's. No risk, no reward.

I'll be honest I didn't think Saunders is that good and still don't but Lemieux arguably lost every round I only gave him the 12th because saunders just mocked him all round and didn't even throw one power punch the entire round.

I think David Lemieux will never be a champion again.
