I hope ur right man! It's crazy, I would have never expected this thread to go over 200+! Which backs up your theory. You think if it goes down it'll be at 135lbs?

I have a feeling Loma's Aug fight will be one of if not the last fight on free TV. Mikey or Tank would be definite PPV no matter the location. Still think it's hilarious how our seats turned out to be right by each other! Lol.
Yeah that was crazy. Probably couldn't do that again even if we planned!

Davis himself was upset with Floyd and said it's "not a good idea" to fight Loma. He knows he'd get waxed.
If Davis believed in himself he would move up to 135 to challenge Loma, but he probably won't.
All of his fans will just keep talking that he could beat all of these guys, while he sits nice and safe at 130. 130 isn't a great division, it's a good division. Berchelt also isn't very good. He is even taking his time before he fights Roman. I favor Berchelt over Roman, but the fact is that Berchelt is waiting almost a year before he fights Roman and some thought Berchelt would actually fight Loma this year.

We see the fighters that just like to talk or let others talk for them, while the real ones are actually stepping up. Doesn't matter if they are in their early 20's. They don't use their age as an excuse. Munguia is a boss. He is younger than Davis and he was willing to fight GGG on short notice and I'm sure he will fight Hurd or Charlo if given the chance. That's the type of fighter you have to respect.

Does a fight between Mikey and Loma or Beltran really garner this much attention on this board? Answer is no. It gets a couple of responses and then dies. This should tell you that Davis is a special fighter, despite many trying to blind themselves to this fact.

For me, the strange thing is: Virtually no poster analyzes or critiques Gervonta's boxing skills. Most just resort to personal insults against the fighter, his private life, or his ties to Floyd. Some mindlessly assert, "Oh, he has no chance, he will never fight Loma, he's a coward," or some other BS like that. That's not a smart skills related critique.

If you ask fighters and trainers about Davis, it's all good comments. Robert Garcia, for example, wouldn't pick Loma to beat Davis.

Davis is 23, with 20 fights, sledgehammer power in both hands, a brutal body puncher, solid chin, crazy reflexes, good defense, and more. He's also improving with every fight. He's one of the best fighters around right now. No amount of slight or hate would take away from that.

People who think Loma is the best fighter in the world (I don't), must think Davis is great if that's the fight that gets Loma the most attention.

Who's talking about Mikey or Beltran? Say Davis-Loma and this board goes nuts and all the usual suspects show up!

When the fight happens, Loma will happily be the B side!

          Have a nice day.
          Good post.

Tank can step up anytime he likes. But in every interview he sells himself short. How can you build a hype if you don't hype yourself.
Tank seems a little "slow" if you know what I mean.

Unless Loma comes back down to 130 soon, it would definitely be at 135. Davis has almost outgrown the division and I don't see him staying there for more than 1 or 2 fights (a grudge match against Farmer, or Dib, if he wins), maybe then Machado (I don't see this one happening).

I think Davis will be a lot stronger at 135, so I expect it to happen there, unless some promotional BS screws it up.

I expect all Mikey, Loma, and Davis to fight each other before the end of 2020.

This fight can be made......remember you guys said a boxer coming from two divisions lower (rigo) would determine who's the best boxer.......135 (1)140 (2)147 its only two divisions higher, he should do what Rigo did. If it was ok for rigo, then it should be ok for Loma...
