Maybe he just trying to build up his mates confidence but i watched the full interview on yt and he goes on to say that Tank has better boxing ability than Linares which i dont see.
He might have better power, simililiar on speed not better though.
I would like to see Tank fight Linares.

Errol Spence is one of my favorite fighters but he's always pro black and admits it. He said he has to go with the brothers.

While the Tank bandwagon rely on Cuellar and Liam Walsh A+++ elite ATG wins.

Fonseca is Tank best win, and yes, you never heard about that guy....except maybe during the tank fight.

Tank is solid but far away from being among the greats, loma has had just over 10 pro fights and people making out to be in the same league as some of the greats.

He's got a long way to go to be even on the p4p list, if he beats a fighter like Garcia he'll get the respect he deserves but even this kid tank beats him..African American fighters are just in a different league...people like rigo and linares are a shame to the sport.

It's appalling that anyone actually thinks this. Loma dominates Tank easily and probably makes him quit on his stool. His own promoter (Floyd Mayweather) said they needed a few more years of experience before he'd be ready.

Before I leave this thread, I wanna make some observations.

Does a fight between Mikey and Loma or Beltran really garner this much attention on this board? Answer is no. It gets a couple of responses and then dies. This should tell you that Davis is a special fighter, despite many trying to blind themselves to this fact.

For me, the strange thing is: Virtually no poster analyzes or critiques Gervonta's boxing skills. Most just resort to personal insults against the fighter, his private life, or his ties to Floyd. Some mindlessly assert, "Oh, he has no chance, he will never fight Loma, he's a coward," or some other BS like that. That's not a smart skills related critique.

If you ask fighters and trainers about Davis, it's all good comments. Robert Garcia, for example, wouldn't pick Loma to beat Davis.

Davis is 23, with 20 fights, sledgehammer power in both hands, a brutal body puncher, solid chin, crazy reflexes, good defense, and more. He's also improving with every fight. He's one of the best fighters around right now. No amount of slight or hate would take away from that.

People who think Loma is the best fighter in the world (I don't), must think Davis is great if that's the fight that gets Loma the most attention.

Who's talking about Mikey or Beltran? Say Davis-Loma and this board goes nuts and all the usual suspects show up!

When the fight happens, Loma will happily be the B side!

Spence was spinning in circles with his logic. Props to the interviewer. Spence definitely did not present a good case for Tank "smoking" Loma.

It's not Floyd that wants to stall it is Tank himself.

He does have the skills to beat Loma doe.. just like Linares had those skills but you win fights in a ring not paper.

Tank just shrinks and turns into a hoe when Loma is mentioned. but he was way more talkative when Ryan Garcia called him out. No other way to chalk that up except fear.
