Why everyone acting like canelo vs ggg happening this year?
I think it is clear that canelo will have another easy tune up after clen/surgery mess. Since they both figthing twice a year, ggg can actually give derevyanchenko a shot on titles and fight canelo next may.

I understand the reasons why GGG ducked Derevyanchenko, and maybe it was the right thing to do, but a duck is a duck -- it's so obvious that it would be ****** to deny that.

so..... you really are just making excuses
when Golovkin crawled up his own ass over that "anyone from 154-168" nonsense, by refusing to negotiate on weight with Canelo..... Canelo ignored his mandatory and fought someone else, like Golovkin just did with Derevyanchenko.....
the difference is, you guys were all screaming for Canelo to vacate
what changed ?
and no, the catchweight made no difference..... because Golovkin happily offered to defend his title against Rosado at catchweight..... and a few months after refusing to negotiate on weight with Canelo, Golovkin stated that he is willing and able to fight at 154, but nobody will step up
why the different standards when it comes to Golovkin
fwiw..... the different (much lower) standards for Golovkin have been amusing us for years..... if Ward or Canelo had made some of the ridiculous excuses to avoid risky opponents that Golovkin has made, they would be burned alive lol

FACT: Golovkin had done NOTHING !!
before 2015, Golovkin had not even fought Murray
Golovkin had done nothing to step in front of Martinez' money-fight with Cotto..... just like you guys are saying that Derevyanchenko has done nothing to step in front of Golovkin's money-fight with Canelo
it is the exact same thing, so stop making silly excuses

I wish boxing fans and the media were this understanding when Martinez was the Middleweight champ.

Somehow he was supposed to fight the unknown GGG who made his american debut two weeks or so before the chavez fight.

1) Derevy
2) the IBF, hopefully
3) anyone who was disgusted when G selected Martiroysan
Originally posted by robbyheartbaby View PostIs it that you are so eager to see GGG lose that any time he doesn't fight someone you are going to call him a coward?
nope
only when he selects 3x NO-HOPER'S, despite the fact that a pile of BETTER fighters threw their hat into the ring
oh, followed by the usual G-bull**** and excuses..... of course
..... and I may start bashing him whenever one of his idiot fanbase insinuate that Golovkin's resume is poor because he is avoided..... because that clearly aint the case.....
..... and I may also start bashing Golovkin whenever one of his idiot fans criticize Martinez/Canelo..... because when Golovkin was in the exact same position, he did the exact same thing lol
Originally posted by robbyheartbaby View PostMaybe Derevyanchenko is great, MAYBE, but GGG is 36 and has what 3 or 4 fights left in him? We want to see him fight the biggest fights yes?! Vanes was a last minute BS replacement, but why risk the house when the money/legacy fight is waiting at the other end. GGG is clearly negotiating with Canelo right now and who wouldn't?! Canelo is the biggest fight out there, anyone in their right mind would do the same. All the speculation you wrote above is just that, speculation, weights, catch weights 154-168 'doe' we don't know what really happened. All I know is GGG is going to fight Canelo next most likely, who is the biggest name in boxing let alone 160 so let's just sit back and enjoy it.
who cares about all of that Robby ?
FACT: you have to fight your mando, Derevy deserves his shot
still waiting for an apology from someone..... on behalf of Golovkin's idiot fanbase..... for all of the childish ridicule that was hurled at Sergio Martinez
Robby..... you admit that Golovkin and Loeffler are full-of-****..... but yet seem to forget that this has been happening for YEARS
****ty opponent selection > Golov-bullshht > mismatch
rinse wash repeat
I have been keeping track of the avoidance, and excuses..... you guys have not, is all
hearing a number of Golovkin fans say that they will stop supporting him unless he selects a live dog in September (and YES, a number of Golovkin fans have said that)..... is a bit silly, because Golovkin has been tip-toeing through the tulips for years
you criticize me, but I have been saying this for years and Golovkin just proved me right when he selected Vanes and they tried to say that Derevyanchenko wasn't ready lol
thanks for the advice, but I am all good bro, I know exactly what is going on
Originally posted by robbyheartbaby View PostI know you will tear strips off what I have said but GGG is a damn fine boxer and has earned the right to fight the biggest names at this stage of his career.
1) he should have started doing that YEARS ago
2) he selected Vanes, lol.... NOT.... "the biggest names"
he should have fought Derevyanchenko, plain and simple
before that fight, I stated that Golovkin is INTENTIONALLY creating an impossible log-jam in September..... he should be fighting Derevyanchenko to keep September free for Canelo/Saunders..... and guess what, nobody agreed with me..... SO, he/you will not get any sympathy from me..... he could have simply fought DerevyLast edited by aboutfkntime; 05-22-2018, 02:36 AM.

Somehow he was supposed to fight the unknown GGG who made his american debut two weeks or so before the chavez fight.
he still gets bashed today..... only a few days ago some muppet was telling me that Martinez and Cotto were cowards
