  • Comments Thread For: Joe Joyce To Return on June 15 at York Hall

Joe Joyce will be back in the ring in a few weeks' time. The Commonwealth heavyweight champion will make the first defence of his title when he dons the gloves again. Joyce, from Putney, London, knocked out Jamaica's Lenroy Thomas inside two rounds on May 5 at the O2 Arena in the capital to claim the rainbow honour.

Free to air, should be a decent opponent given his previous picks .. hard to argue against.

Was looking to go York Hall for a card sometime soon, the cheaper Okolie tickets gone so probably will go to this. Would be great if they got Chisora though not expecting it.

Hope they can find someone who will bring him on.

I also hope Haye can make this promoting gig work. He lost Hutchinson so the signs aren't good, but British boxing would benefit from having another promoter working the market.
