Jamie McDonnell is one of the worst 'world champions' I've ever seen, and I say that as an Englishman.

I'm not suggesting that he's a terrible boxer or unworthy of any respect; just that he's simply not world class and never has been. His reign is littered with either soft opposition or gift wins. He should have lost both fights against Kameda for a start.

Pushing out a hundred arm-punches every round is simply not going to cut it against a fighter of Inoue's calibre, with his kind of power and technique. And McDonnell won't be getting a gift in Japan either, not that I'm expecting the fight to go the distance anyway.

What are you talking about? He beat Kameda both times. The first one was close but Jamie pulled it by 3 points to win. The second fight though, Jamie clearly won. I think I had it by 6 points if I remember correctly. So yeah, he didn't get any gift in those fights. He did if you listed to the horrible commentary from the US, but we over here in all of the boxing mags just laughed at their craziness. Either that or you really don't know how to score a fight properly.
