well one thing u said isnt true im not trying to argue but after the ndou fight he said he was done at 135 cus he just couldnt make the weight with complete ease like he used to so that was a contributing factor to why he moved up but ur right about the money and better opposition part as well -
B-Hop does, Floyd be partying alot since he is younger he can get away with that but B-hop is old school. Dude was a solid 160 he looked like he weighed 185 when he fought Tito he was diesel for sure.Comment

without a doubt, floyd mayweather. he's known to do 15 rounds on the pads, then 15-minute rounds of sparring with middleweights, then 15 rounds of pads again, and then sprints 2 miles straight. guy has never had a touch of alcohol in his life. he goes to clubs, buys the ladies champaigne, has an orgy maybe, then rings roger to come round with the pads for a workout. crazy.Comment

Damn tough choice, but just on the fact that B-Hop has kept it up for so long and stayed in incredible shape at 160. he looked like a natural LHW when he faught Tarver so to be a natural 175/185 pounder and to be able to stay at 160 for so long proves the guy is a machine, if Mayweather keeps his religious training regiment for a few more years it'll be a different story.Comment

I think Toney want's to be HW champ, & he can't do that unless he puts on some unneccesary weight, but at a lower weight he'd probably dominate.Comment

What I was referring to was, he could've stayed middle or super middle his entire career if he wanted to. Maybe move up to Light-heavy towards the tail end of his career to win a title in another divison like B-Hop did. JT has very good power (in the middle weights) and is one of the most fundamentally sound fighters out there. James Toney doesn't lose on skill he loses on stamina and work rate. Even exhausted he makes guys look bad against him.Originally posted by AllEyesOpenI think Toney want's to be HW champ, & he can't do that unless he puts on some unneccesary weight, but at a lower weight he'd probably dominate.
I think earlier in his career he could've even won a title at jrMiddleweight if he had the discipline of PBF or B-Hop.Comment

True, Toney is still one of the greatest regarless of how Buddha-like is body has become, I't would have been great for him to have stayed & dominated the Middleweight devision, but part of my enjoys watching his fat ass give these Hw so much trouble.

I know what you mean, his level of skill is extremely rare in the heavyweights, but he doesnt really belong there. I agree I think he is still a great fighter and he will still make HOF but he could've been All-Time, and his name would've echoed next to SRR, Duran, Ali, Chavez...etcOriginally posted by AllEyesOpenTrue, Toney is still one of the greatest regarless of how Buddha-like is body has become, I't would have been great for him to have stayed & dominated the Middleweight devision, but part of my enjoys watching his fat ass give these Hw so much trouble.
