I assumed "not bad" implied good or at least Ok. This is neither.

I don't know what fighting someone so small and so poor will achieve. Especially after you have called all decent HW's "bums".

And if it was just about getting into shape then go to fat camp.

But you guys are happy so i guess i can see why he picked such a lame opponent.

But having a fight deadline is more motivating than going to fat camp.

I'm not "happy" about the opponent, i was probably expecting a guy with almost a losing record, given the circumstances. Nobody is saying his opponent is good, he's not, but what's the rush? let him get through a camp and a fight with an easy opponent and then kick on from there.

I don't care about this fight and wouldn't care if i missed it, but it's about progression and a first step for him getting back into the swing of things and that can only be a good thing. That's what it will achieve.
