Surely that scorecard was manufactured and credited to that judge in name only. They may or may not score the cards on scoresheets during the fight, but there's no way that judge watched the fight and came up with 115-113 or whatever for Selby. I have no idea who was really behind it, but somebody had the influence to fix one of the judge's cards. Like, "Hey judge #3, take the night off, we'll post your card for you."

Youd be surprised how incompetent judges can be,scoring shots that land on gloves , sometimes because their angle doesnt allow them to see if the shots are landing
And they dont score based on damage enough. It was clear to me that warrington had more solid punches

The judge shouldnt be allowed to judge again or go back to lower level fights -
Is it too far fetched to think rival promoters may pay off the judges on eachother's shows to fook with eachother? I could imagine Eddie Hearn laughing his mantits off while those scores were read out. On the flipside, maybe Warren stuck a few quid in an envelope to ensure the ref for AJ-Parker was a basket case.Comment
