Why do UK fights have better atmosphere and fans than the US fights?

the atmosphere in a UK fight is so much better than a fight in the US. I don't know why that is, is it that American people just don't care about boxing as much as the UK people do? Is it that the UK people are more passionate. Whenever I watch a US fight the atmosphere is dead, fans in stadium seem uninterested.

Compared to that atmosphere we just witnessed today in Leeds. Wow.

Promoters in the US need to start playing Sweet Caroline before the fight starts doe...

      Hands, touching hands, reaching out
      Touching me, touching you
      Sweet Caroline
      da da da
Good times never seem so good

I assume that the % of those in attendance in Britain rooting for a specific fighter is much higher than in America. Those in attendance in America want to see a good fight. If you have a **** fight, Americans sit silently. But if you're rooting for a specific fighter, the quality of the fight isn't as relevant as the position of the fighter you're rooting for.

It's not just boxing that's just how it is at most sporting events in the UK.

The UK's biggiest sport is soccer(futbol) as with every country in the world except for Amerikka. They've found a way to promote their fighters and get the best out of it. In Amerikka, it's the opposite. Every sport is big here except soccer and boxing has taken a back seat to football, basketball, baseball, the past few decades with the cherry picking and excess of titles. .

Who says it's better? Many English fans are rude and disrespectful. They boo the visiting boxer and they boo his national anthem too. They sing as if singing is going to help their fighter win. I have never understood a single word they sing. They never finish a song and only sing in short bursts. They are poor sports if their fighter loses and they boo the winner. Americans like and support our boxers we just aren't nuts about it.We don't buy a plane ticket and follow them over seas to cheer the on. That's nuts. We are used to having good champions. We support them but we don't go crazy over them.

Boxing was big until you were no longer kings of the HW division then they lost interest.
