Ok what that got to do with what I said. Nice deflection. They requested a purse bid and then backed out of it. That’s his fault not Adonis

I don't know the exact circumstances but it just seems like Stevenson always manages to avoid these potentially big fights. Not that Jack is a bad fight.

You don’t know the circumstances, yet blow off certain reports without anything to back up that rationale. Smh.

yes they did and while they were waiting for the purse bid to be ordered they signed an hbo deal which wasnt there when they first pursued the purse bid. not really that hard to explain. a great opportunity came up so they took it. just like stevenson when he went to showtime.

big difference is kovalev was still offering stevenson the same exact split on hbo ppv for years after but stevenson preferred to fight guys like karpency, etc...when you have such a radical fanabase you know they can always use the "he pulled out of the purse bid" excuse to explain away your years of ducking afterward. you only get one chance to fight!!! oh kovalev blew it so stevenson is allowed to duck forever? if they don't make the fight a certain way and at this exact time its ducking but if stevenson fights bums for years instead of taking the hbo ppv fight its ok. its kovalevs fault lol ok

              Why did Stevenson swerve Alvarez?
              IDK... Money ?... Fame ? .... Both ?

The real question is why did Alvarez step aside so many times, cashed the $$$ and then cried to the media ?

So he signed a exclusive contract in the midst of a purse bid? Sounds like a duck to me.
