It doesn't matter, we got lil g right where we want him. Every move he makes will be the wrong one. Fight Derveychenko, hes ducking Charlo. Fight Charlo, he's ducking his mandatory. Fight Canelo, he's just a "businessman", and ducking both Charlo and his mandatory.

So, no matter what he does, we're gonna talk sh it about him

He's not a big threat to GGG but he's surely better than spike Sullivan and Vanes

So if they manage to make that fight happen for GGG next, and he gets Sergiy out of there in under 6, what will the new excuses be, because I guarantee you there will be plenty?

So let's start off the list here.

Some I call out will be "Sergiy only had 12 pro fights doe", "He is 32 now, so already shot and past him prime", "GGG cherry picked Sergiy due to his lack of experience in the pros", "Sergiy was paid off to take a dive"
I ain't talking about anyone else's opinion but for me it doesn't matter how good Derevyanchenko is (and I think he is quality, but stylistically not the greatest threat to GGG) but about the principle of fighting mandatories and giving contenders their shot. For me that's about all that makes the sanctioning orgs and their slightly silly trinkets worth anything at all.

It will be the same old song. “Derevyanchenko is a bum, a tomato can, blah blah blah.”

That's actually a pretty good fight. Golovkin would get full credit for a win from me. Hope to see it.

This is the "his fans bash more accomplished fighters, so we're going to bash him" excuse. It's a very popular one.

He still beat the top competitors, the number two and number three guys. So he didn't KO them, but they didn't even hurt him. They both played the back up and survive game with GGG. So what? GGG is a human, not superman. He is also not the one getting caught with PEDs and refusing and postponing testing...

His **** resume still puts most people on this forum in a coma several lifetimes over.

he got a draw against a guy that had 0 wins at MW and was beaten by a past his prime featherfisted WW

oh ****..i almost missed you playing the "well he puts us guys on the forum in a coma game"

no **** huh? you dont say? lol

listen were here to compare fighters ...not compare pro fighters to us common folk...lol...what a dummy

The man is the Mandatory and deserves his shot I haven't seen anybody actually PICK Derevyenchko to beat GGG but I do think Derevyenchenko is talented enough to give him a tough fight and possibly pull a upset with the right gameplan of course. Not just GGG at 160 but Jacobs and Charlo. Another skilled Ukrainian Fighter with Good Power

Yeah I know "Who Has He Fought" well nobody yet that is why the *** some want to see him in with GGG, Charlo, Jacob, Canelo and the best so we can SEE WTF he can do or can't do vs The Best.
