    Hatton wants none of Mayweather

It is more than likely that this fight will not happen due to Hatton dodging Floyd.....If Hatton is so great than step up like a man to Floyd. I don't hear Hatton calling Floyd out...do you?

I wrote this in another thread.

A little while after the Callazo fight there were some threads on here about Hatton and his trainer calling out Floyd by saying that they would fight him but Floyd doesnt want the fight and the only way they would stay at 147 is to fight Floyd but he doesnt want it.

Then I made a thread talking about Hatton being slick and dropping names. I talked about how Hatton and his team always say they need more tuneups before Floyd but now that they know Floyd is 100% going for the Oscar fight, they try to come out and make it sound like they want to fight him because they know Floyd wont fight Hatton now, and then they can say "Floyd doesnt want the fight so what can we do".

Now Floyd's fight with Oscar is off and you know he would easily fight Hatton but I bet you wont hear Hatton & Grahm mention Floyd now. There all talk. Im not upset because I dont think Hatton's ready and theres nothing wrong with that but the media and fans on here better stop trying to spin stuff like Floyd wont fight him when its so easy to see that its Hatton who doesnt want it yet

I agree, but a little more objectivity wouldn't hurt.

Ever since the Kostya / Hatton fight, people were claiming that stylistically Hatton is a bad matchup for Mayweather and suggested that Mayweather wouldn't be able to handle Hatton's constant and relentless pressure.

Although it's true that Floyd has more problems with someone who pressures him than say someone who tries to sit outside and box him (which is suicide by the way).

However, people fail to mention that Floyd is stylistically a bad matchup for HATTON, as ironic as that is. Hatton will always have trouble against slick, boxers who's not only fast on their feet but fast with their hands and aren't afraid to let their hands go. Hatton's defense is subpar, and he doesn't cut off the ring nearly as good as JLC. If Floyd keeps a high punch output the entire fight, and lets his hands go on Hatton as he comes in, I honestly don't see Hatton surviving the 12 rounds.

No matter what this fight will happen.

Floyd is free to negotiate with anybody at present we will have to wait a little longer and see if he choses Hatton.

This idiot is a Hatton-hater, and is simply making troll threads.

So please everyone just ignore him and let his idiotic threads die.

                Thanks!

If I didn't know better I'd almost swear your threads are biased, Johnny.

I've heard Hatton say he wants the Mayweather fight on lots of occasions.. in fact, I was led to believe that was the whole point of him signing to HBO, and that's why they're building his name in America first.

Out of interest, how many individual rounds did you give to Hatton in the Collazo fight?

I had Hatton winning the Collazo fight 7 rounds to 5... 115-112 (with the 1st round KD)
