Rookies in the NFL make more money than some top 5 boxers

The only guys that make BIG money currently are Canelo & Joshua.

2018 NFL rookie Saquan Barkley will make 7 million dollars per year in the next 4 years not counting sponserships. While guys like Loma & Crawford barley make 1-2 million a year in their prime of their careers.

NFL is the biggest sport in this country, the average team is worth a little over 1.4 billion

Barkley was the 4th pick in the draft. Once you get past the first round it's not like that.

Dak Prescott only makes 700k a year because he was a 4th round pick.

        Your figures are way off.

The purses that get declared for a fighter is their Guaranteed Purse, not the full amount they make as they're getting money on the back end too.

Lomo clears at least $5 Million a fight when you factor in International Sales rights that each country/territory has to pay to broadcast his fights.

Dak next contract will be over 100 million for like 5 years. Just watch.

Also in the NFL at least 100 guys make over 1 million dollars a year while in boxing only like 15 boxers make over 1 million dollars a year.

The NFL has peaked. In 20 years things will be different.

                    Source?

Reason I ask is that number sounds super inflated. Hearn has a TV deal with Germany for AJ fights (or at least that was the reference I saw it in) which is like 1M and that's well before it starts getting cut up. My guess is that 1M gets cut into big enough pieces and AJ ends up with like 200k or less.

Don't forget who's controlling Lomo, Bob Arum.

Also, once you get over a certain amount the tax rates increase to like 42%. Might be ways to shave that down or avoid that number, but that's a really close number.
