The money should be paid in full or this is just a foolish game.

If Wilder was using Whyte as a leverage card to get AJ, that was already called and didn't work. Just fight Whyte, who should be, btw, a legitimate WBC mandatory instead of Breazele. Whyte's opposition is notably higher than Breazele's and, again, he brings 3 times more money than Breazele. Why not fight him if AJ's fight does not materialize???
Wilder isn't Anthony Joshua, but why would the model that's been effective for Matchroom Sport change?
Deontay Wilder owns the show, Wilder and Matchroom Sport agree on a budget that makes sense, and Wilder gets 65%-70% of the proceeds (Joshua is apparently on an 80/20 split with Matchroom), 60%-65% of the proceeds if Matchroom Sport fronts him his $2m while he waits on the back-end.
Wilder has been schooled well enough, by Haymon and Finkell to understand his worth to an event.
Part of the reason why Wilder's camp was willing to offer $50m against 50% of the take to Anthony Joshua for the fight in Las Vegas; a major 2am fight is generally worth a certain amount (due to what they've seen with Floyd's fights on Sky Box Office), Las Vegas and the sponsors generally put up a certain amount to host events, and the experience on USPPV helps give an idea for what to ballpark with Showtime/CBS.
If the fight crosses beyond the sport like Oscar/Floyd, Floyd/Canelo, Floyd/Pacquiao or Floyd/McGregor, they split the boom 50/50 (would not shock me if they're looking at $50m to Joshua, $20-$30m to Wilder as their expectation for the event).

If team AJ wanted to wait for this fight to happen then they should have just come right out and said it. It’s a bad look to make a demand, then that demand is met and still no fight .

Every other outcome pretty much guarantees a rematch of the fight, with a possibility of a trilogy, and Joshua can still go home, rebuild in front of his stadiums of fans as he gets back on track for another shot at global glory.
If he's good enough, there's no reason to avoid the fight now.

Tell me another HW unification fight where one fighter took a flat fee ? Your man made a demand , the demand was meet and still nothing. If Wilder made a demand and that demand was met I would be saying the same thing about him. Team AJ wants to wait and they have publicly stated this . Spin this how you want . You just proved you are a moron.
It's funny huh!!!

Joshua made the demand 'bring me $50m'. Wilder brought $50m. Joshua said 'Lets roll'. Shelly Finkel put a 24hr deadline and refused to talk to Team Joshua.
Now they are negotiating presumably a new deal somewhere in between.
Wilders demands were met. He said no. Joshuas' demand was met, he said yes but Finkel held up the deal.
Now do you see? Stop sucking Wilders nuts and maybe you will see who is trying to make this fight more.
These wilder boys are so deluded, thou am not surprised. Team AJ wants the 50mil upfront before the details are ironed out. No credit alert since then.
